GGB Heating Solutions is a local family run business serving the Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley areas. The company was started by Gary Bates in 2003 and became Limited in 2017. Gary is a qualified plumbing, heating and cooling engineer with more than 25 years of experience. Gary was originally CORGI Registered from 2003 and moved over to Gas Safe when they became the governing body for gas engineers.
From 2015 – 2018 we were HETAS approved engineers allowing us to install solid fuel stoves but soon found it didn’t fit with what we were aiming for as a company. Now in 2024 we joined REFCOM as FGas engineer giving us the ability to install and maintain heat pumps and air conditioning units.
Based in Goldthorpe, we provide boiler and heating services to Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds and Mexborough. Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
